That sounds fun. My mom just got back from San Diego. Isn't that where you live?

I had a surprise party for my friend Karla, and all the girls in my class from last year came. (Except Alyssa) I was so upset for some reasons that I don't want to mention, but Heather was the only one who knew about it. She kept talking to me and making sure I was okay, and I had mentioned something about friends at school, and how some people don't like me and stuff, and the topic of Taylor Cnudde came up. I didn't want to say much though, because even though Taylor had flashed me a TON of mean looks, I thought Heather and her were good friends. Apparently, I was wrong. When I said that I thought that, Heather said, "Oh my god, Karissa! Are you crazy? Taylor is WAY too into her looks. I mean, have you seen how thin she is? And she is SO rude!" Heather and I are so much alike. She and I like the same people, and dislike the same people.

Oh yeah, and..............
We were playing truth or dare last night, and we had this little lie detector thing, and so, I was asked, "Who do you have a crush on?" I said, "Um...Shaun!" We used the lie detector and of course, it said I was not telling the truth. So I said, "Okay, but you guys can't tell anyone! .......Hondo." Heather was like, "Oh my god, Karissa! You are obsessed with him!!!! I mean, come on, he is just messing with your brain!!" Everyone said, "Heather, what do you mean, Hondo doesn't do anything wrong!" She said, "Oh my god!!! You guys need to be paying attention to what he is doing to Karissa's mind! He has been being nothing but an @$$hole to Karissa!" Then she turned to me, and said, "Karissa, I'm sorry you had to hear it that way, but it's true. If you got back together, he would just do the same thing he did last time." Then, she paused for a long time, and everyone was quiet. Then about a minute later she said, "After 5 days, you would be nothing but a page in his history book." I said, "You're right, I know you are, but I just can't seem to get him off my mind." She said, "Cervantes did it again." (That's his last name.) All of us were like, "What?" She said, "Remember about 3 years ago, when Hondo dumped Alyssa Cozad? This same thing happened to her, and she's still not over him. Now, 3 years later, he hates her guts. Now, I'm not saying that will happen to you in 3 years, but I am saying that if you don't get over him now...this will scar you for life."

I haven't updated this recently, but........
Since it's a new marking period, I now sit by Hondo in Pre-Algebra. We talk about anything and everything...it's so hilarious. I honestly thought that maybe now there would be a chance for something to happen...until around...2:11. (lol...that's when I get out of school...) Melissa came over to my locker, and said, "Have I told you about Hondo yet?" I said, "No, what about him?" She said, "I have a crush on him." Then I said, "Um...okay." I've always thought that you shouldn't date a friend's ex-bf. (Although Hondo dated Alyssa in 1st grade, but I don't count that....lol.) I'm not saying that Hondo will date Melissa, actually I'm around 99% sure hee won't, but I don't want to make her mad if I date him again. And you know, I never had a "crush" on Hondo. But I was in love with him. It wasn't just a "crush." Even though I was young, I knew what I wanted. When I was around 5, that was when I started dreaming of my wedding, and stuff like that. (I know, young, lol...) All the stuff in my dreams included John Stamos at my side. In 3rd grade, it changed from John Stamos to Hondo. Up until now, it had stayed him. Sure, I still have those dreams. But that person by my side doesn't really have a face. All I want is some kind of hint of what direction I should go in. I want a face on that person.

Last night I had the weirdest dream. It was about the Christmas party my mom's friend Dawn has. Dawn kids dance at Perry's, where Hondo dances, so they know him and his mom. I was there, and they Hondo, his brother Xavier (I think that's how to spell it...), and his mom showed up. They never did before, so it was really weird. I was sick, so I was laying on the couch when he got there. The whole time, we were talking like we used to. We always talked when we were together, and I do miss that. After we both left, they did something like they do in movies and tv. I was looking out my window, you know, kind of sad feeling, then Hondo was looking out his window the same way. I woke up around 3am, sat up, and my heart was pounding soooo fast.

I forgot to mention this, on December 7, I was in the cafeteria eating lunch, and Colin was sitting next to me. Colin says, "Are you Hondo's girlfriend?" Normally I get really upset if someone asks me that, but I barely know Colin, so I kept my cool. I said, "Ex-girlfriend." He goes, "Sure..." Alex was listening the whole time, and he says, "Yeah, it's true. She hates him." (By the way, I don't exacly hate him, but he has been a huge jerk.) Colin says, "Right..." So, I don't know what that was about. Yesterday, I asked Heather if she thought it was okay to phase someone out. She knew exacly what I was getting at, and said, "Yeah, if they've been a jerk to you." I tried--I really did! It was soooo hard though. It worked for like, one class period, so like, 48min. I'm going to try again on Monday, but I don't think I'll be able to.

Today was soooo confusing...
In English, Bo and Sid told me that Hondo wanted to ask me to the Christmas Dance after school today. I was like, "Oh my god. Are you guys serious? When did he say this?" They said, "This morning, in Social Studies." Bo says, "So what are you going to say?" I said, "I'm a very complex person! I need to think this through! And you know, I'm going to have to ask him if this is even true." Sid told me that I had to have made my decision by lunch. I knew lunch was in 20 minutes, but I never thought it would comeso fast. After English, I said, "Is what Sid and Bo told me true?" He said, "If you wanna go." I said, "Okay, I'll tell you at lunch." At lunch, he asked, but I hadn't made up my mind yet. He went outside, and I stayed inside. I was talking to some friends, and Mackenzie, Hondo's ex-gf overheard. She said, "He asked you to the dance? He asked me yesterday and I said no." Everyone wass telling me I shouldn't be going out with him and he was a major player. Bo even listed people who he'd asked out within the last month: Karla, Sarah, Me, Ariel, and Mackenzie. Before Hondo went outside, Ellie was sitting next to him. Ellie asked him if he liked me, and he said no. I didn't see this, but I know Ellie doesn't lie. I hadn't made up my mind by lunch, and by Math, my last class, I still hadn't. Sid said, "Karissa, the dance is in like, 10 minutes." I was like, "It's 2:05?" Sid says, "Okay, 20 minutes." He had been bugging me all day, and I was like, "Okay, I've got an answer." Hondo and Sid both looked at me, and I said, "...No." Hondo said, "You still have 10 minutes to decide." thinking I had just said that to get Sid to shut up. 5 minutes later, I was talking to Ellie and Heather, and they asked what I had said. I told them no. Hondo overheard, and said, "That was really your answer? I thought you just said that to get Sid to shut up." I said, "...No. That was my answer. I'm sorry." He was really upset, but I had to do that. On the way downstairs to go home, I ran into Shaun and Bo. Shaun said, "Are you going to the dance with Hondo?" I said no. Bo said, "You told him no?" Shaun said, "Why?" Bo said, "Come on Shaun! She's standing up for her rights!" I burst out laughing! It was just that the way he said, "She's standing up for her rights!" was so hilarious. *lol*
